1. How do I replace the cartridge?

Twist the upper silver part of the filter top to open it. Remove the older cartridge, insert the new one - and you're good to go!

2. Why doesn’t it reduce TDS?

TDS simply measures the total dissolved substances in water — it doesn't tell you whether they’re harmful or not.
